Our Commitment

Miele Canada is committed to protecting and restoring our Canadian Forests. Between April 7 to June 27, 2022 the impact of the Miele Forest offset 2,778,000 kilograms of CO₂ and resulted in 27,800 trees planted. Because trees capture and store carbon, forests are recognized as a leading solution in our fight against rising CO₂ levels. They also protect critical wildlife habitat, offer opportunities for recreation and education, and play an important role within indigenous cultural heritage.

Miele supports forest carbon capture in two essential ways; new planting as well as preservation of existing old growth forests. Together, we are making an impact today, and for generations to come.
